No. 17 Oregon State Beavers women’s basketball vs. San Francisco Dons: Live updates

Oregon State gets another crack at a non-conference game at 2 p.m. Thursday when the No. 17 Beavers play San Francisco in Gill Coliseum.

The game, announced Tuesday following the cancellation of Monday’s non-conference game against Carroll College, is the Beavers’ final tune-up before Pac-12 play begins Sunday.

Previous meetings: Oregon State leads the series 7-3. Last time the teams played was 2008, an 83-66 OSU win.

Notable: The Beavers opened the season with an 88-54 win over Montana Western. Taylor Jones had 24 points and 11 boards in the win. … This being the season of COVID-19, the Beavers have a strange upcoming schedule, starting with Thursday’s hastily assembled non-conference game against San Francisco. OSU plays Colorado on Sunday, then has a rescheduled Pac-12 game against Utah on Tuesday, followed by a Sunday, Dec. 13 game against Oregon in Gill Coliseum. … San Francisco opened the season with an 82-75 loss to UC Davis. USF has since had two games cancelled.
